About the Event
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the intergovernmental coordination and planning agency for the 10-county metro Atlanta area, including Gwinnett. Kick off 2017 by gaining insight from ARC Chairman Kerry Armstrong.
About the Speaker
Kerry Armstrong has served on the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) Board of Directors for nearly 10 years and is in his second term as chairman. Professionally, his commercial real estate career spans three decades, and he currently holds the position of Managing Director - Development Partner with Pope & Land Real Estate.
Appointed by the Speaker of the House of the Georgia General Assembly, he serves on the State of Georgia’s Partnership for Public Facilities and Infrastructure Act Guidelines Committee. Civically engaged, Armstrong is also the Chairman of the North Fulton Community Improvement District, Director and Past Chair of the Council for Quality Growth, Director and Past Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber and is a Director of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he serves on the board of the ATO Foundation, Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation and Richmond Property Group.
Armstrong holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
